SURPLUS SAL


Pursuant to Ed. Code 39520, Sierra Unified School District will offer for sale numerous surplus items owned by the District.  Said items are available for inspection, by appointment only, at the Facilities and Maintenance Department on the Sierra High School’s campus.  Please call Kelly Capps, Casey Franks, or Melissa Miller at (559) 855-8314 to arrange an appointment to view the articles for sale.   Some sale items will be sold with a minimum bid price posted on the form.  


 A bid form, which may be obtained from the Facilities and Transportation Office, 33220 Lodge Road, Tollhouse, must be completed to submit a bid.  In order to be considered as a valid bid, sealed bids must be signed, dated, and returned to the Facilities and Transportation Office at Sierra High School, by 2:30 p.m. on or before Wednesday February 4th 2026.  All bidders will be assigned a “Bid Number”.  For notification purposes, the bids must include a completed slip containing the name, address, telephone number of the bidder and bid number.  
 All sealed bids will be opened on Thursday February 5th 2026, and will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder.  The successful bidder on each lot will be notified by telephone or mail.  It is recommended that all bidders retain a copy of any forms submitted containing their bid(s).  Payment for items must be in the form of cash, cashier’s check or money order.  All cash payments must be made in the exact amount of the bid, no change will be given.  All items are sold on an as is / where is basis and it is recommended that the items to be bid upon be inspected prior to submitting a bid.  


 Full payment must be made at the Facilities and Transportation Office (33220 Lodge Road, Tollhouse) on Sierra High School Campus at the time the items are picked up.  No refunds will be given for any items purchased at this sale.  Arrangements for removal from the Sierra High School Campus must be made by each of the successful bidders.  The purchased property must be paid for in full and removed from the Sierra High School campus within five (5) working days from the date of notification of award. Sierra Unified School District is not responsible for any liability related to any of the items purchased.  Any questions regarding this sale must be directed to Kelly Capps or Melissa Miller at (559) 855-8314.
